My children have been enrolled at The Sandbox Daycare for the past six years. We discovered The Sandbox when we first moved to Connecticut and didn't know anyone. I was a new mom searching for a place for my 9-week-old son. From my first visit, I was immediately comforted by the welcoming environment. It was clear that the children were happy and well cared for, with engaging art projects and photographs displayed on the walls, accompanied by the joyful sounds of children playing and engaging in daily activities. The teacher in the infant room, Miss Tammi, made me feel welcome and was patient in answering all of my questions. I couldn't help but be charmed by the adorable infant art projects showcased around the room. My son started in the infant program and continued through the toddler and preschool programs. Every morning, it warmed my heart to see him greet drop-off with a big smile, showing me he felt safe and right at home. The staff at The Sandbox are dedicated, caring, and attentive. It has always been a relief to leave for work knowing my child is in capable hands. I appreciate the small community feel of the daycare because everyone knows each other well, which fosters a warm, family-like atmosphere for the children. The teachers do a wonderful job of maintaining daily communication with parents and supporting children in developing essential skills. By the time my son graduated from preschool, he felt confident and well-prepared for Kindergarten. I also think the tuition is affordable compared to other daycare centers in the area. We now have a second child enrolled in the infant room, and my older son still looks forward to returning each day to see his teachers, who played an important role in his life for many years. I am glad that we chose The Sandbox as our childcare provider.

Our child started at The Sandbox Too at the age of 6 months and is now in the preschool program. We are so grateful to all of the teachers and truly appreciate how much they care about the children. As our child went through each stage at The Sandbox Too, her development, both socially and academically grew as well as the bonds she made with the teachers and her classmates. We just love how excited she gets to tell us about her day and show us the projects they made. Communicating with the teachers through the app is very convenient and they always get right back to you. We love that we have a peace of mind knowing our child is in great hands at The Sandbox Too.

The kind of people that work at this facility truly have compassion and hold space for my kids which I know is a rare gift. When I can’t be there, it’s such a blessing to know that my children have a team of qualified professionals that will not just encourage them developmentally, but love on my kids just as hard as I do. Under the careful guidance and supervision by those at Sandbox, Too! my children have flourished, and we all have been lucky enough to find a sense of family within this community. From teething to learning their ABC’s Sandbox, Too! and our family there have been with us through it all. My kids couldn’t love the staff or their day to day projects, activities or friends they’ve made there any more. Thank you Sandbox, Too! for all of your hard work and dedication to the kids and families that attend your facilities. We have all reaped the benefits, ten fold.

Our son has attended The Village Pre-school & Daycare in Bethel since he was three months old. He is now almost five, and will be graduating later this summer. A good childcare provider can be defined as a safe, clean facility with plenty of learning opportunities to help your child grow and thrive. Village certainly fulfills those prerequisites. A great childcare provider does so much more—keeps your child engaged, curious, and joyful due to an amazing staff. Village also succeeds there. There has not been a single day in nearly five years that our son hasn't celebrated the fact that he's on his way to school. He literally leaps out of the car each morning and runs to the front door. The teacher turnover is extremely low, and most of his key educators from infancy to preschool remain an essential part of his daily life. We trust them implicitly to keep him safe and happy. They provide the children so many daily opportunities—from being outside on their playground (twice a day in the warmer months), to a weekly show and tell to gain confidence, silly dance parties, sensory play, ice cream truck treats in the summer, and plenty of educational crafts that extend the learning process. What other pre-school has a "bird condo" at the window where the children can keep a daily eye on visitors who fly in and out for a snack, as well as being able to witness such things as baby chicks hatching in real time? Ms. Faye in the preschool room has been a godsend, prepping our little guy for the next chapter in kindergarten and being an amazing partner to us parents as we raise him. He just had his school assessment last week and is fully prepared for the next step, in large part due to our Village family. The staff there truly cares about our little ones, and are just as excited to see them as the kids are when they arrive each day. The center itself is clean, full of necessary sensory stimulation, and super convenient with regards to its downtown Bethel location and their operational hours. They utilize a really great app to keep you updated on everything that happens during the course of the day, from bathroom/diaper usage to meals/snacks, activities, and of course, frequent photos of your child. The old adage is true, It truly DOES take a Village, and we couldn't be more enthusiastic to recommend them to other families.

We don’t trust easily when it comes to our child, but the word-of-mouth about Sandbox was so strong that we felt confident even before signing him up. Now that our son has been at Sandbox for a few months, we can honestly say that they live up to their reputation. The staff is so caring and communicative and you can tell that they really care about the kids. The kids are very well taken care of and happy. And we love the updates we get throughout the day!! Our family is so grateful to have found a place we feel this comfortable leaving our son every day.

Our son has been attending The Village Preschool since his infancy, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience there; we absolutely love it! The Village provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment along with the teachers & staff who genuinely care for and work with each child individually.
